Picture
I recently walked Broadway through Denver south to north on an assignment for Colorado Life magazine, a quasi-sequel to my 2007 walk of Colfax Avenue for a travelogue in Ramble Colorado.

Compared to Colfax's 25+ miles, Broadway was only about 17 continuous miles from Highlands Ranch to where it turns into Brighton Boulevard, but I took three days to take a good long look at the "spine of Denver," warts and all. I'm glad I got new shoes for the walk. (They were a write-off.)

You'll have to wait until 2015 for the story to hit newsstands, but here's a teaser in the form of a slideshow of my best pics, from south to north, with a detour back to Baker on night #2 from my room at the 11th Avenue Hotel and Hostel.
